Lonnie Lemons
Lonnie Lemons comes from a family of law enforcement and corrections professionals. He retired in 2018 and has over 30 years experience in law enforcement and corrections. During his career, Lonnie was responsible for policy and procedure development and review, supervising contractors, shift supervision, accreditation, supervision of many different areas including the warehouse, security staff, administration, contract service providers and other areas. Lonnie was a member of the Steering Committee, Standards Committee and Inspections Committee.
Lonnie was appointed by the County Manager to help develop the County Safety Committee. He was the Chair of the Safety Committee for the first two years and then a member of the Committee. Lonnie was responsible for reviewing safety issues and work related injuries for the entire county.
Lonnie is the owner of Lonnie Lemons Consulting and Services, llc and The Pursuit of Excellence Training and Consulting Services. Lonnie has traveled throughout the United States working as a consultant for Correctional Agencies, Law Enforcement Agencies, Hospitals and other companies providing consultant and training services. Lonnie has conducted seminars and training events on many topics to include, Agency Management, Leadership training, Team Building, Policy and Procedure Development, Supervision and many other areas and topics. He has years of experience in accreditation through the American Correctional Association (ACA), Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), National Commission on Correctional Healthcare (NCCHC) and International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Accreditation (IACLEA).
Lonnie has been a certified accreditation auditor for over 12 years. He served as a member of the ACA Delegate Assembly and assisted ACA with the development of the Core Jail Standards. Lonnie worked with the American Jail Association in the development of the Jail Officer Certification, Jail Manager Certification and Correctional Trainer Certification programs for the American Jail Association.
Lonnie served as a Board member of the Compliance and Accreditation Managers’ Association (CAMA) for over 13 years. He was the President of CAMA from 2016 until 2018. He served as the President Elect in 2014 and 2015. He continues to remain a Board Member with CAMA. He developed national network group which is now called CAMANet. CAMANet is a secured network group used by CAMA Members to share information with each other. As a Board Member and President, Lonnie was responsible for planning and organizing CAMA Conferences until 2018.

David Taylor
David Taylor retired in 2014 after a 31-year career in corrections and law enforcement. His experience included three years in a minimum-security adult correctional facility, and twenty-eight years in adult probation and parole field services in Montgomery County, Ohio. During his tenure, David was responsible for policy writing, maintenance of ACA accreditation, and training design and development among other duties. In 2020, David returned to serve as Interim Director for nine months.
David served on the Executive Board of the Correctional Accreditation Association of Ohio and was the Executive Director of the Compliance and Accreditation Managers’ Association for six years. He was the CAMA Accreditation Manager of the Year in 2002. He is a certified ACA auditor and has conducted numerous audits over the past twenty years. He assisted in the development and field testing of the current ACA standards for Adult Probation and Parole Field Services.
Since retiring, David has worked with a variety of agencies and companies to assist law enforcement, correctional, and other public service departments in the U.S. and Canada in the areas of policy development, accreditation, and training. He remains committed to helping public service agencies and the dedicated employees who serve in their Pursuit of Excellence.
